Katara, having finished the meeting in the North Pole’s palace, headed back to the house in the snowy city that she and her husband were staying in. Zuko had been supposed to go to the meeting too, but he had felt ill that morning and had been unable to come, so Katara, being a skilled diplomat herself, went alone. As she had expected, it had gone well, and she couldn’t wait to tell Zuko. Upon arriving in the house, she deposited the scrolls she had been carrying on a shelf, and went into the bedroom to check on Zuko, where she had left him bundled and curled in layers of furs this morning, only to find he wasn’t there.

Wow, was my last entry really from 2016? Shit has stuff happened. I graduated.  That's the big one.  Got my Associate's Degree in Language Arts.  Still going to school, because I might transfer and go on to university.  After I finish this math course for a transfer requirement, I'm going to look into full time jobs, while still taking classes just in case. I'm working at that same Macy's I was before, but it's a different position.  I got let go, started hunting for work again, got hired in a total hell hole, quit that job after a month, and ended up hired back at Macy's a week after quitting as a fitting room associate.  I'm one of the p

I keep saying I'm going to come back to Deviant Art and I don't. Right after I posted last time, my life went into complete chaos. I started working a ton at Macy's because of the holiday season.  I actually ended up liking the job, but I'm pretty sure it's coming to an end now, being a seasonal and all, although I was hoping they would keep me. On Christmas Eve, we learned we had a busted pipe in the concrete slab under our house.  This meant almost a week with the water being turned off 99% of the time (except when I had to shower before work).  We had to get the whole house repiped.  Then we had to get the holes in the walls patched.  N

Totally forgot DeviantArt is a thing, no joke.  I wanna be more active now that I remember. I'm 25 years old now.  Got a job with Macy's for the holidays, but I don't like it too much, and they don't have many shifts for the newbies to take.  I'm working in the home department.  Best part of the job is my coworkers, they're all super nice and supportive of each other.  I will miss them.
